Completely designed by the André Kikoski architectural agency, 'the Wright', the new restaurant at the Guggenheim Museum, New York, opened its doors in December 2009, on the fiftieth anniversary of the Museum, In 2010, it won the 'James Beard Award for the best restaurant design' in North America.

Enjoying a family dinner or entertaining one's friends at home on the chairs of the Guggenheim Museum restaurant in New York will undoubtedly be the last word in chic in 2011. On its flat steel cross-shaped base rests a steel cylinder which supports a one-piece seat/back assembly which rotates 360°.

The upholstered seat is lightly curved so that the occupant will feel completely supported. The back's three bands of horizontal quilting suggests a soft welcome.

A second version of the Guggen chair, with a cross-shaped wire base, is also available.
